Dynamically Driven Renormalization Group
We present a detailed discussion of a novel dynamical renormalization group scheme: the Dynamically Driven Renormalization Group (DDRG). This is a general renormalization method developed for dynamical systems with non-equilibrium critical steady-state. The method is based on a real space renormalization scheme driven by a dynamical steady-state condition which acts as a feedback on the transfo...
متن کاملRenormalization Group: Applications in Statistical Physics
These notes aim to provide a concise pedagogical introduction to some important applications of the renormalization group in statistical physics. After briefly reviewing the scaling approach and Ginzburg–Landau theory for critical phenomena near continuous phase transitions in thermal equilibrium, Wilson’s momentum shell renormalization group method is presented, and the critical exponents for ...
متن کاملTime-Dependent Real-Space Renormalization Group Method
In this paper, using the tight-binding model, we extend the real-space renormalization group method to time-dependent Hamiltonians. We drive the time-dependent recursion relations for the renormalized tight-binding Hamiltonian by decimating selective sites of lattice iteratively. The formalism is then used for the calculation of the local density of electronic states for a one dimensional quant...

We investigate, analytically near the dimension duc = 4 and numerically in d = 3, the non equilibrium relaxational dynamics of the randomly diluted Ising model at criticality. Using the Exact Renormalization Group Method to one loop, we compute the two times t, tw correlation function and Fluctuation Dissipation Ratio (FDR) for any Fourier mode of the order parameter, of finite wave vector q. I...
متن کاملNon-equilibrium frequency-dependent noise through mesoscopic circuits: a renormalization group approach
We analyze equilibrium and non-equilibrium frequency-dependent charge and spin current noise and conductance through a quantum dot in the local moment regime. To compute charge noise, we generalize the non-equilibrium renormalization group formalism of Rosch et al. [1]. First, we reformulate the problem within in a real time functional renormalization group formalism, and show that the original...
